3 Thanksgiving Tablescape Trends

Our best memories happen around the table—and when it comes to family feasts, nothing trumps the beauty and the importance of your Thanksgiving dinner. For a meal that matters this much, you’ll want to set a table that’s not just dressed to impress. Set a table that speaks to your soul—and welcomes guests with all the warmth the holiday deserves. To inspire you, we’ve created three Thanksgiving tablescapes in wildly different styles: Maximalist, Naturalist, and Traditionalist.

01
Maximalist: More Is More

Autumn is made for the maximalist. From fiery colors above to the crunch of leaves underfoot, everything about the season is a sensory experience turned up a few notches. To embrace all that is fall with a maximalist table setting, layering is key—and playing with pattern is certainly on the menu. Here, we embraced the autumnal hues from our Butterfly Meadow Cottage collection. Portola Gold flatware and Tuscany Stackables glasses in amber add shine like a waning harvest moon. Bring in texture with coordinated—but not matchy-matchy—table linens and finish with a bouquet that brings it all together. You really are the host with the most.

02
Naturalist: Down To Earth

If you prefer a simpler tablescape, our Naturalist take on the Thanksgiving table calms the eye and inspires soft conversation while borrowing small elements from the outdoors. We love how our Oyster Bay dinnerware brings in a harvest of patterns without overwhelming the eye. In keeping with cooler tones, we opted for silver-colored Textured Neutrals flatware and kept our glassware clear. For interest, Facets vases add soothing geometric lines (and make a beautiful place to showcase an earthy bouquet of grasses).

03
Traditionalist: Classic Thanksgiving

Nothing inspires togetherness like a classic Thanksgiving table. And with its traditional cornucopia design first introduced in 1918, our Autumn and Autumn White dinnerware hearkens back to simpler times with a design that’s still thriving. The hammered texture of Imperial Caviar flatware speaks to time-honored design that’s been used and enjoyed. Meanwhile, elegant Signature Series glassware from wine guru Victoria James elevates your Thanksgiving toast. Cheers to you and dinner going off without a hitch!
